Jaacob Bowden
Jaacob Bowden has been a professional golfer since 2003 and even though he is pursuing a
playing career on the PGA tour he enjoys giving back to the game by teaching.
Jaacob grew up in St Louis, Missouri where sports such as basketball and baseball played an
important role in his life. In 2002 he decided to focus strictly on golf and became a professional golfer
in 2003.
Since then he has won the Pinnacle Distance Challenge in St. Louis with a drive of 381yards
and has a tournament drive of 400 yards. He is featured in chapter 16 of the book "In Search
of the Greatest Golf Swing" by Phillip Reed, and is currently a player on the Hooters Tour.
Jaacob is a student of world record holder Mike Austin (the man who hit a tournament 515
yard drive at the age of 64) and is one of only a few qualified instructors in the world to teach
the Austin fundamentals.
